When it comes to nail polish I usually go for soft pinks and peaches, but as I was browsing through Target the other day, my mom spotted some nail polishes and gestured to the bright yellow. I've always been attracted to the bright cheerful color, but never thought it looked great on me. However, lately I've been getting a lot of compliments from the color and have come to realize I can actually pull off such a beautiful color! :D So, I've been incorporating more yellows into my wardrobe, but  still it never entered my mind to try it on my nails! But I've fallen in love with the color! In fact it's now one of my favorite colors of all time!!! (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧ Anyway, so I got it on the in the moment urge and put it on right when I got home! I am LOVIN' it! Really Really love it! It's just so bright, vibrant and energizing! Like summer, in a bottle! :D It's just an everyday pick-me-up when you look down and see oh! Sunshine on your fingers! ^_^  hehee Definitely a fan of this color!

Now this is why I love summer! ^_^ The bright colors, the easy breezy feel of it, the energizing sun, the summer style! This outfit is so effortless and minimal, yet is definitely a look to make others glance twice! I love the color of this maxi dress and the stripes! Can you tell I have a thing for stripes? lol Off-setted by bold red of the necklace, the little punch of oriental detail that I love, and the casual, yet comfy and totally summery shoes,  this outfit is perfect for strolling around in the summer sun ^_^ Not to mention it REALLY elongates the body! Model status! haha at lease I can pretend

Been so into the tied button downs look! It just makes everything feel effortlessly chic and summer-y! Anyway, yet another "by the beach" inspired look. A colorful stripped dress of neon green, torquise and a rather periwinkle blue, white polo, ties in the front, sleeves rolled up for a more effortless, less stuffy look, a long torquise stone necklace to accentuate the playful colors of the dress (very minimal jewelry! No trying too hard! I'm supposedly playing comfortably by the beach) and a rather offbeat contrast of snakeskin sandals. ^_^ Really loving the laid back, chill vibe, yet the colors definately make it more playful and youthful! Love!

My newly discovered love of pairing bright yellows with navy blue! They are simply the perfect combination! Oh where have you been all my life?
